Day 9, A Day of Double Servings and Double Productivity

This morning, the group started the day with breakfast at Auroville Bakery & Café for a change of pace. Immediate blunders ensued when we discovered every order came with double servings. Spencer ended up with four servings of crepes, and Chloe with four servings of eggs. Thankfully, it was a happy mistake, and the food was eagerly devoured.

After breakfast, we returned to the guest house and got to work. With a two-hour timer set, we put our heads down to work on the research findings section of our report. After a group debrief, we headed to the Visitor’s Centre for a well-deserved lunch. From there, Tara and Spencer went to an interview with Maroma, a personal care and fragrance manufacturer, leaving with valuable insights (and smelling fantastic).

Meanwhile, the rest of the group continued working until it was time to meet our client, Lalit, for a tour of Kuilapalayam’s village and recreational facilities. We encountered many doggos, some friends, other foes.

Back at the guest house, we wrapped up the day with pizza, pasta, and a group call with Wendy. The team split off to our rooms, squeezing in a bit more work before bed. With all devices charged, we prepared for the forecasted heavy rain (and possible power outage) the next morning.

  1. It was nice to talk to you all, although half of the time we were frozen! I also enjoyed Spencer give me an update on everything he ate on Day 9.
